FoodGrader unifies onboarding, barcode scanning, Vision fallback, and explainable AI so each family member gets the right answer every time.
Tell FoodGrader what matters: “IBS lunches,” “Avoid hazelnut oil,” “Lower A1C.” The onboarding screen turns that into dietary rules, FODMAP toggles, and ingredient-level allergen sheets without forcing you through endless checkboxes.
Aim at a barcode and you’ll see a personalized grade instantly. If a barcode is missing or unreadable, tap Vision Scan — FoodGrader’s fallback camera mode that captures the nutrition label, ingredients, and allergen statements.
FoodGrader merges USDA FoodData Central, OpenFoodFacts, and our shared allergen dictionary to produce an A+ to D grade. Each card explains what helped or hurt the score, highlights FODMAP warnings, and cites allergens you toggled.
Switch profiles instantly or run comparison mode to see three products for one profile — or one product against three family members. During the early adopter phase, these FoodGrader+ tools remain free (100 of the first 1,000 seats are already taken).
FoodGrader blends USDA FoodData Central, OpenFoodFacts, and our own QA process. Profiles are anonymous, Vision scans stay on device until you sync, and we never sell data.
